About OBY Critical Minerals
Who We Are
OBY Critical Minerals is an Australian-based developer securing the future of sustainable abundance through the advancement of the district-scale Man of War Rare Earth Project in Minas Gerais, Brazil.
Currently progressing toward a TSXV listing, OBY is executing a high-impact 2026 roadmap. Our strategy focuses on a low-capex, phased development path—starting with a Phase 1 bridge plant to validate processing at scale before expanding into a long-life production profile.
Development Strategy
One small phase to prove it, one big phase to value it
A structured, two-stage roadmap designed to accelerate the pathway to market while reducing technical and financial risk.
Phase 1 | Bridge Plant
Small enough to be financeable and fast-to-market; large enough to validate the flowsheet and lock in firm offtake agreements.
- 0.5 – 1.0 Mtpa initial capacity
- Fast-track, single-stage permitting pathway
- Technical validation & customer qualification leverage
- Targeting 2028 production start
Phase 2 | Scale-Up
A full-scale, 20+ year life-of-mine operation that anchors the long-term project valuation.
- 10 – 15 Mtpa district-scale operation
- 4,000 – 6,000 tpa TREO output potential
- 3-phase environmental permitting process
- Targeting 2030 production start
2026 Roadmap
A Rapid Path from Geology to Economics
A clearly sequenced program of drilling, metallurgy, resource updates, and economic studies throughout 2026.
Integrated Launch
SK1300 MRE update was kicked off with SGS, and a new auger drilling program was initiated, including the metallurgical sample at Nau de Guerra and new targets.
SGS Metallurgy Progress
SGS PEA and metallurgy programs initiated, moving the story from concept to repeatable process behavior with desorption and leach optimization results.
Auger Drilling Results
Results from auger drilling, including new targets, targeting high-grade, close-to-surface intercepts with strong ionic character. Continuous drilling results are expected throughout 2026 leading to a new MRE.
Flowsheet + Product Update
Flowsheet advances toward a PEA-ready mixed rare earth concentrate, supported by small product samples, early customer acceptance, and product narrative.
Updated MRE
Update to the SK1300 resource estimate with resource expansion potential, targeting increased grade and scale.
PFS-Support Density Drilling/Infill
Drilling density increases to support indicated and measured resources.
PEA + Resource Upgrade
PEA completion changes the debate from geology to economics, with an indicated and some measured MRE targeted and Phase 1/Phase 2 timelines validated.
Invest
Why OBY Critical Minerals Ltd.
A district-scale, high-grade rare earth platform providing a strategic ex-China supply solution through a structured, low-capex development pathway.
Massive Scale & High MREO Grades
A tier-one Maiden Resource of 1.35Bt @ 3,437 ppm TREO, featuring a distinct, high-grade core.
Significant Exploration Upside
Proven expansion potential across multiple near-surface targets, supporting a multi-decade mine life.
Tier-1 Strategic Infrastructure
Unrivaled access in Minas Gerais: paved roads (2km), power (2km), and water (1.9km) already in place.
Ionic Clay Processing Potential
Standard ambient temperature desorption targeted, supporting a low-capex, simplified processing pathway.
Clean Product Profile
Low impurities and radionuclides ensuring high payability and direct relevance to Western OEMs.
Global Supply Chain
A district-scale ionic clay rare earth platform positioned as a premier ex-China supply solution.
From Resource to Economic Definition
The global transition to green energy and automation demands 20–30 new rare earth mines by 2040. As a district-scale ionic clay platform with strong ex-China supply-chain relevance and a catalyst-rich 2026 roadmap, OBY is positioned to capture both thematic and specialist capital as the story moves from geology to economics.
Execution Credibility: Funded near-term work, resource expansion potential to new targets, SGS-led studies, and pending maiden PEA
This is a fresh critical-minerals story with enough macro to get attention and enough catalysts to drive valuation growth through 2026
Scale + Basket
One of the largest, most magnet-weighted ionic clay rare earth stories. 1.35Bt @ 3,437 ppm TREO, w/ 23% MREO (Inferred, 43-101/JORC)
Process Simplicity
Early desorption work opens the door to a cleaner, lower-complexity and more unit-cost efficient development narrative
Two-phase economics
A financeable bridge plant first, then a much larger scale-up case: easier for investors to underwrite
Execution credibility
Funded near-term work, SGS-led study spring and year-round auger / PFS-support infill drilling
